The Muséum départemental du Var showcases the region’s flora and fauna, with exhibitions that highlight species you may not have encountered before. Since its relocation in 2011 to a larger space, it features a collection of nearly 1,000 bird species and 2,500 plants, primarily from the Var region. Visitors can also explore rooms dedicated to mineralogy, paleontology, and ethnology, displaying fossils, ancient tools, and even a dinosaur skeleton. It’s a fascinating insight into the natural world.

Wilhelmina Park is one of the Netherlands' most picturesque parks. Its innate beauty, abundance of old trees, well-kept lawns and a graceful fountain make it a must-visit in Utrecht. This iconic park is encircled by mansions and historic villas, featuring a spacious sunbathing area in the southern part and a broad promenade. On a hill just to the south of Thimphu, on the site of the ruins of the Kuensel Phodrang palace, stands the majestic Great Buddha Dordenma statue, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world (54 metres tall). Gape in awe at both the shine of the bronze statue gilded in gold and the magnificent views of the surrounding areas from the hilltop. The walk up and down the hill takes about 1.5 hours.

Considered a gem of historical interior design, the Audubon House is a restoration project which is furnished as a replica of a prosperous 1800s Key West home. The constructor and first owner of the house was one of the ten most affluent men in the Florida Keys during this time. Both the house and its tropical garden give the you a glimpse of everyday life in a rich man's home of the mid-19th century. It has a cookhouse, a gift shop and a herb garden alongside 200 blooming orchids.
