The National Park Service interprets the life and family of Ulysses S. Grant at this 10-acre site. Grant is known as the victorious Civil War general that saved the Union and the 18th President of the United States. Open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Free to the public.

Koh Tao means 'Turtle Island' in Thai, as this was once an important breeding ground for sea turtles, which have been reintroduced to the island's ecosystem in 2004. Koh Tao is worldwide famous for its beautiful coral reef and marine life, which make it a popular place for snorkelling and scuba diving. Hikers might want to try and reach John-Suwan Viewpoint or Mango Viewpoint.

The building is also equipped with a brasserie and a bar with a panoramic view of the surrounding hills.

Even today, the former Reichsparteitagsgelände (Nazi Party Rally Grounds) in the south of the city is still home to gigantic ruins representing the Nazi regime’s deluded notion of grandeur. The 11 km² complex was where the Nazi Party orchestrated its propaganda campaign. The documentation centre is located in the north wing of the Kongresshalle, which was designed by the Nazis to hold 50 000 people and was never completed. The permanent “Faszination und Gewalt” (“Fascination and Terror”) exhibition housed in the 1300 m² venue, chronicles the causes, relationships and consequences of the Nazi dictatorship.
