This is a quiet little town surrounded by fields of fruit and tomatoes, ideal for family trips. Almynta’s tomb is the town’s symbol, and nearby there are several Lycian graves. In the market there are small fish counters where you can choose what fish you want to eat. One of Turkey’s most spectacular beaches, Ölüdeniz (the Dead Sea, meaning the Calm Sea), lies about 25 minutes by bus from Fethiye’s centre. Come here on a local bus or dolmus.

This museum tells the story of the Nazi occupation of Krakow during World War II. It is located in the former administrative building of Oskar Schindler's factory. A guided tour is available, but you will also find detailed explanations in English around the museum.

Pizzo Calabro is a seaport perched on a steep cliff overlooking the Gulf of Saint Euphemia, around 34 km from Lamezia. The church of San Giorgio and the nearby castle are worth a visit, as well as the charming narrow streets where you can wander around and discover the Italian historical heritage. Moreover, a must when you visit this area is to taste the delicious "Tartufo", a local ice cream, well-known in Italy.

The Wall Museum is located in the basement of the "Casa del Paso" building, on the Salesas Campus of the Miguel Hernández University. It also houses an interesting and well organised archaeological site, set up after various stages of excavation between 1998 and 2000. Significant architectural heritage sites are well conserved: The town wall, four watchtowers dating back to the Almohad era (Designated Cultural sites since 14/12/1998), Arab baths, Islamic and early medieval streets and homes, a Gothic palace and architectural remains of the Casa del Paso (17th Century). Furthermore, remains dating back from the second half of the 12th Century to the 20th Century have been recovered. During the visit, around the perimeter path and glazed walkways, there is also a variety of complementary resources to help interpret the findings, such as display panels, scale models, signposts, display cases and a video.
