A secluded cove in the northern coast of Marjan Forest Park, Bene Beach doesn't resemble the sandy Croatian beaches but boasts its one-of-a-kind charm. A long excursion through the forest will lead you to its pebbly seafront, where you can rest your feet in the clear water surrounded by untouched nature. A restaurant is also located a few steps away.

Nothing extremely thrilling can be said about this statue, which is located in front of the northern gate of the Diocletian Palace. It rises up celebrating bishop Grgur, Gregory of Nin, who firmly opposed the Pope and introduced the Croatian language into Catholic services. You may want to stop by though: its well-polished big toe is said to bring good luck for those who rub it.

Los Gigantes is a coastal town located in the Santiago del Teide municipality. The resort is famous for its cliffs of imposing stature soaring up to 600 metres above sea level. These rock formations extend along a significant stretch of the coastline, offering breathtaking views. According to the locals, Los Gigantes' cliffs are sacred, as they symbolize the end of the world. This resort town is home to nearly 2,700 people. It has a marina and a black sand beach. There is also a promenade with numerous cafés and restaurants. The cliffs can be easily admired from the sea, however, getting to the top is more physically challenging due to their formidable nature and rugged terrain.

Up on the hill of Sveti Križ, the Astronomical Centre opened its doors in 2009 and nowadays is the only facility of its kind in Croatia. In addition to the observatory, inside you will find a digital planetarium and a conference room, as well as a coffeehouse and the panoramic terrace at the roof of what once was a military fortress.
