If you would like to get away from the city hustle and bustle then take a stroll around this quite park. This is a great place to have a picnic or do some sports. There is also an old tower which was built for a World Exposition back in the 1920s.

Grotta Mangiapane is the biggest cave of the group Scurati's Caverns. Scurati is a little village with very ancient origins, as the numerous finds happened here can demonstrate. The cave takes its name from the family Mangiapane, who lived here for more than a century, indeed it hosts a very peculiar rural agglomeration composed of little squared houses. Totally different epochs merge together in this unique place. During Christmas period, Grotta Mangiapane hosts a big event called “Living Nativity”, an event where the agro-pastoral life comes alive with some 160 performers, including artists and craftsmen from all over Sicily.

Take a guided boat tour and explore some of the island's most secluded, lesser-known beaches (multiple tours are offered in Chora), as well as the beautiful islands of Koutsomyti and Syrna.

A private mansion with a nice garden turned into a museum, a place where you can admire works from Turkish artists created between 1850 and 1950. There are also excellent collections of calligraphy, religious and state documents, classical Turkish furniture as well as paintings of the Ottoman era. The museum is beautifully located on a hilltop, overlooking the Bosphorus.
