Stella's Playland promises a fun-filled day for kids of all ages. The play area features a suspension bridge, trampolines, cycle tracks, and climbing walls. For the little ones, there's a dedicated section equipped with a ballpool and multiple slides.

On the other hand, there is a clear picture of the artistic genius’ development, from his sickbed as a young man to his grave behind the museum. After a visit, you can walk around in the painter’s footsteps and compare the light in each painting. In addition, the red ochre villa is beautiful in its own right.

One praiseworthy local restaurant, The Rock, is located on the banks of the Palo Alto River, just outside of central Boquete. The large windows allow for fantastic views up the valley, and the fireplace seating area is a cosy spot at night. "Food without pretences" is their motto, and the menu focuses on locally available produce and meats. Steaks and ribs are cooked to perfection and may be accompanied by artisan beers made exclusively for the restaurant or the perfect wine. Thursday is All-You-Can-Eat Rib Night. If you are in Boquete, a meal at The Rock is a must.
