Dating back to the 13th century, the Iglesia de Santiago is the oldest church in Ciudad Real. It was constructed in the Gothic style, but the design shows signs of Romanic and Islamic influences.

This is a delightful little church that dates back to the 12th century but was rebuilt in the 1317. Here you find many examples of early 14th century frescoes and other paintings and works of art made by Umbrian painters.

There are two waterfalls in the vicinity of Nha Trang, both of which make for excellent excursions into nature. Ba Ho Falls, at a distance of roughly 30km north of central Nha Trang, are the falls that attract most visitors. You will need a ride to reach the entrance to the natural area (get a taxi or Grab). Bring swimwear, sturdy shoes (not flip-flops), and your own water. Note that water volumes may vary dramatically depending on whether you visit during or outside the dry season (January through August). Another option is Fairy Spring Waterfalls (Suối Tiên), mostly favoured by local youth. These are much smaller compared to Ba Ho, but there is still an opening fit for swimming. There is a small admission fee to visit both falls.

The Seven Painted Ladies of San Francisco are one of the most photographed landmarks in the city. They are symbolic of the California Gold Rush, which enabled a building boom with all its newfound wealth. The colorist movement in the 1960s gave the normally gray houses their bright colors to complete their look. Fans of the sitcom "Full House" will recognize the Seven Painted Ladies from the opening credits.
