The Union Station was completed in 1900 and functioned as a passenger terminal until 1979. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the landmark building experienced years of neglect until it was converted into an opulent hotel, detailed with wrought iron and Italian marble. Its lobby features a barrel-vaulted, 65-feet-high ceiling enclosed by stained glass. The station looks spectacular from the outside. If you're not staying at the hotel, you can still enjoy the interior while having drinks or dinner at Ergo restaurant, located inside this historic landmark. Tamayo Museum of Contemporary Art is Mexico City's quintessential art museum where you get to see the genius of Rufino Tamayo plus whatever temporary exhibition is on at the moment. Rufino Tamayo was one of the most renowned artists of the second half of the twentieth century who sought to create paintings in "the Mexican tradition" while distancing himself from the political and nationalist movements. Another big draw of the museum is the brutalist building itself, designed by Teodoro González de León and Abraham Zabludovsky who drew their inspiration from pre-Hispanic architecture. The core of the Museo Tamayo's collection consists of more than 300 works by 170 artists. The collection includes examples of the most renowned artists of the second half of the 20th century.

Belle Meade is a mansion and surrounding grounds dating to the 1840s, with a winery, museum, event spaces, an onsite restaurant and some of the most beautiful grounds in Nashville. Just east of Ha Long Bay is Bai Tu Long Bay. Both of these places share many of the same geological characteristics, the exception being that Bai Tu Long is a bit of a hidden gem and has a lot fewer tourists. This is what makes Bai Tu Long such an interesting alternative to northeastern Vietnam's most popular destination. With limestone karst islands just as impressive as those in Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long doesn't have as many grottos but is equally beautiful.
