Set on a hilltop, Little Fish Hill Park is a favourite spot for panoramic views over Qingdao. With nautical-themed pavilions and a fantastic vantage point, it’s ideal for soaking up views of the city’s red-tiled roofs, lush green spaces, and the Yellow Sea stretching out below.

A quiet spot just outside the city centre, Giusti Garden dates back to the late 1500s and was once part of a private villa owned by Count Agostino Giusti. Mozart and Goethe passed through here, but now it’s mostly a peaceful place to wander. Tall cypress trees, statues, and views over Verona if you climb to the top. There’s also a small hedge maze—local legend says if a couple finds each other inside, they’re meant to stay together.

A must see in Timisoara is the Opera House, located right in the city centre by the beautiful Victory Square, full of cafes where you can relax after a visit to the Opera House. Built between 1871 and 1875, the architecture of this building is enchanting both within and without.

Due to the tropical climate and fertile soils, the rainforests of Samoa are a lush and vibrant paradise. Native wildlife such as seabirds, skinks, flying foxes, geckos, as well as a plethora of unique flora call the forests home. Le Pupu-Pue National Park on Upolu is one of the best with extensive walking tracks and a listed 42 bird species. Tafua Peninsula Rainforest Reserve, in the southeast, is another bird watchers haven where you may see the rare Samoan tooth-billed pigeon. In the Falealupo Rainforest Reserve, take the treetop canopy walkway built about 40 metres above the ground among giant Banyan trees!
