Mutrah Corniche is Muscat’s shimmering waterfront promenade, where the azure waves of the Gulf of Oman gently lap against a picturesque harbour lined with palm trees and vibrant architecture. This scenic stretch offers an interesting blend of modern leisure and traditional charm, with its bustling fish market, historic forts, and cafés. As the sun sets, the Corniche transforms into a lively tapestry of illuminated dhows and ambient street life, making it an ideal spot for a sunset stroll. Unique to this coastal gem, the Corniche also boasts striking views of the nearby Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts, which stand sentinel over the bay, adding a touch of historic grandeur to your leisurely exploration.

You’re in for a challenge at Amaze World. Make your way through this hedge maze, full of brain-teasing puzzles, mini tile mazes, and a huge walk-through aviary. Take the family to “get lost” in this living hedge maze with two metre high rows of fragrant cypress pine hedges.

La Piazzetta is Portofino's iconic main square which, overlooking the harbour and the myriad of boats anchored at the port, is a peaceful spot where you can enjoy traditional specialties or just sit and experience firsthand the vastness of the Ligurian Sea. Plentiful boutiques, art galleries and restaurants are located in the surrounding area, making the bustling centre an ideal gathering point.

This is an excellent national park that covers 4,000 hectares of land, and is easily accessible from the centre of Noosa Heads. The park has great beaches, as well as wildlife, including the ever-lovable koala.
