Once you reach the top of this hill, a terrific view of the city opens up before your eyes. Three white crosses standing on the top symbolise Lithuanians' mourning and hope. The first crosses were erected in the 17th century in memory of the martyrs, but were removed during Stalin’s rule and then rebuilt in 1989. A journey to the top of this hill makes for a lovely hike through a peaceful and green area of the city.

These magnificent limestone caves feature delicate shawls, grand columns, underground pools and amazing chambers. You can explore five caves created from a belt of limestone laid down about 440 million years ago. The caves are set inside the deep gorges and rugged bluffs of the Yarrangobilly River Valley at the north of Kosciuszko National Park. Bring bathers to enjoy the natural thermal pool which is a constant 27°C.

The National Museum of Scotland presents the nation's history and global collections across two architecturally distinct buildings. The modern Museum of Scotland building (opened in 1998) is dedicated to Scottish history, from geological origins to the 20th century. It connects to the original Royal Museum, a Victorian masterpiece with a stunning glass-roofed Grand Gallery housing an eclectic collection of artefacts from world cultures, rare gems of natural history, and numerous science exhibits. Together, they showcase everything from Dolly the Sheep and Ancient Egyptian mummies to the Scottish Maiden — a predecessor to the French guillotine.
