The Grocery Museum is a charming little establishment and a museum that offers sweets, such as liquorice, butter cookies and more, all of them locally made in Utrecht. The museum is housed in a 17th-century building, which initially served solely as a shop. Today it is both a shop and an exhibition space displaying a range of nostalgic items, including treats and artefacts reminiscent of the 19th century.

Situated in the heart of Domplein, this subterranean ruins offer visitors an underground space where they can explore 2,000 years of Dutch history. The underground journey throughout these archaeological treasures takes participants to the foundations of a Roman fortress erected in 45 AD, including insights into the historical events such as the collapse of the nave attached to Dom Tower in the 17th century.
