Seven generations saw the Tan Ky house remaining in the excellent condition it welcomes visitors in today, as it continues to stand as an excellent example of the confluence of cultural influences that define Hoi An. This 18th-century merchant home combines elements of Chinese and Japanese design and even features elements of European influence (such as the grape leaves carved into the courtyard balcony). The house comes furnished with original period pieces and contains a small gift shop; an open courtyard at its centre brings in light and air, creating an organic link to nature and preventing the structure from flooding (although this isn't a remedy in extremely high water).

Eric Young Orchid Foundation allows visitors to marvel at one of the finest collections of hybrid orchids in the world. Enjoy a fine selection from the world's total of 20 000 species of orchid - the vibrancy of colours and unique shapes are guaranteed to make for beautiful photographs.

Rönneviks Miniature Golf is a rather standard course, but what makes it exceptionally great is its location right next to the Hembygdspark. As you play, you can have a look at the animals, take the kids to the playground, or simply enjoy a stroll after playing. Ice cream and drinks are sold here, too.

Towards the western part of St Brelade's Bay stands the St Brelade's Parish Church. This small, old church is within walking distance from the beach and bay area, and is highly recommended for postcard-ready photographs (it is setting against a backdrop of lush greenery by the edge of the water).
