Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary in Navasota (approximately 30-40 minutes from Montgomery) is dedicated to rescuing and providing lifelong care for wolves and wolfdogs that cannot be released back into the wild. Many of these animals come from difficult backgrounds, but at the sanctuary, they receive the loving, compassionate care they deserve in a stable, nurturing environment. Saint Francis also focuses on educating the public about the challenges facing wolves and wolfdogs, while dispelling common myths about these incredible creatures.
