This driving route explores Waterford, Tramore, Dungarvan, Comeragh Mountains Loop, Lemybrien, and back to Waterford city. From hidden coves to mountain scenery, this loop passes Waterford’s coastal UNESCO-site, The Geopark, before venturing into the mountains to the spectacular Mahon Falls. The first stop along this smorgasbord of coastal and mountain scenery is Tramore, a quintessential Victorian seaside resort. Driving towards Newtown Head, look for the Metal Man perched on one of three pillars on the headland. From here, continue west (via R675) along the Copper Coast, a UNESCO European Geopark named for its 19th century mining heritage. It’s a hypnotic route, spotted with Blue Flag beaches, stunning views and pretty villages like Annestown and Stradbally. Finally you will arrive in Dungarvan. From Dungarvan, the R672 links with Ballymacarbry, where a right turn takes you through the walker’s wonderland that is the Nire Valley. Continuing east to the R678 and R676 crossroads, there are two options – turning north to Carrick on Suir before taking the N24 back to Waterford, or turning south (via R676) towards Mahon Falls, a 240-foot waterfall tumbling spectacularly off the glaciated range, towards Waterford via Lemybrien (via N25), spare a thought for William Crotty, a notorious highwayman hanged in the city in 1742. Crotty robbed coaches travelling along what is today’s N25, and his treasure is still said to be stashed amongst the corrie lakes in the Comeragh Mountains.

The green heart of Rzeszow is a recreati on area located by the river Wisłok, where the inhabitants of Rzeszow are happy to spend ti me on warm days. By the river and near the lagoon there are paths for cyclists and rollers which are part of a network of 120 km long urban paths. Those who prefer to simply relax, can enjoy barbecues or play Mini Golf. There is also a large playground for children, where youngsters can put their energy to use. Every year there are bicycle and scooter rentals along Rzeszow boulevards and on weekends children can ride the cable car. Water sports enthusiasts can spend ti me on kayaks, water bikes or yachts. During the summer season, a sailing school operates on the Rzeszow Lagoon where yacht and motorboat courses are held. The extreme sports enthusiasts can try their hand at skatepark and dirtpark near the “Podpromie” hall, and in winter also in snowpark. For the brave ones - rope park. There are trails at three levels of diffi culty in the park and a path for children. There are cafes, pubs, bars and a dance club by Wisłok and the lagoon. Social life by the Rzeszow’s river in the spring/summer ti me goes on unti l late in the evening. The Educati onal Fruit Orchard was established in Lisia Góra Nature Reserve.

The museum itself is a wonderful piece of art and has won several international architecture prizes. The most interesting part of the exhibition would be the folk culture hall, where a whole street featuring shops of traditional handcrafted art was created inside the building. This place will take you back in time and offer a closer look at the old Ningbo City.

No visit to San Francisco would be complete without a ride on a cable car. These cable-powered streetcars have been transporting people up and down the hills of San Francisco since 1873. A highlight of the ride is actually at the end (or the beginning) at the turnaround. Watch while drivers push the cable car on a rotating platform 180 degrees for the trip back up the hill.
