The Panda Pavilion is located on the island of Coloane, and is one of its top attractions. They have both and indoor and outdoor areas where the pandas live, along with an exciting exhibition area. Besides, it isn't just pandas alone, other animals inhabit these quarters as well.

Keep in mind that the road is shared with cyclists and hikers, and includes steep sections and sharp, blind curves—so it’s important to adhere to the 25 mph speed limit for everyone's safety.

Hersonissos is the epicentre of night-life in Crete, boasting numerous bars, nightclubs, hotels and restaurants. There is also a series of nice beaches and very small bays for a relaxing day on the sand. Only half an hour drive from the centre of Heraklion, the town is accessible by bus, departing from the station near the port.
