The seaside promenade extends for more than 4 kilometres, joining the area of Pernera with Fig Tree Bay, as well as Agios Nicolaos Harbor with Louma Beach. It allows the visitor further to explore the area and at the same time come across a wealth of attractive beaches. This lengthy promenade is perfect for a sunset stroll or jogging while enjoying stunning views across the Mediterranean. All along the coastal promenade, there are platforms that extend from the main path towards the sea. Some of these resting points look as if they hang over the sea. These stops are also marked by benches and people make frequent stops to rest, enjoy the view, the sunset or sunrise or read a book.

Sit back and relax while the bus tour takes you to the most interesting sites. There are two different tours: The Clifton Loop, featuring Clifton Suspension Bridge, City Museum and more and The Old City Loop, featuring St Mary Redcliffe Church, Castle Park and more.

On the Sunday of January 30th, 1972, unarmed civil-rights protesters were shot by soldiers of the British Army only meters away from the memorial. Visiting here is a sobering and educational experience. Information boards detail the tragic events of the massacre.
