Cala Moraig is a secluded cove about 84 km from central Alicante, known for its clear waters, calm sea and relaxed atmosphere. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards, and just a 10-minute walk away you’ll find the Mirador de Cala Moraig, a viewpoint with coastal vistas. If you’re planning a visit, there are a few practical points to keep in mind. Access to the beach is free, but parking costs around €15 if you arrive by car. The beach is open to both nude and non-nude bathers, which may not be ideal for families with young children. Reaching the cove also involves a fairly steep slope, which can be challenging for elderly visitors or those with mobility issues. There are no shops or vendors on site, so make sure you bring food, drinks and anything else you might need for the day.

Internationally renowned, Killarney National Park encompasses the three Lakes of Killarney. Overlooked by mountains and covered in the most extensive native forest remaining in Ireland, this is a place of great natural beauty as well as scientific interest. It has the only red deerherd on mainland Ireland and is a special area of conservation. As well as this, it is loved by visitors, who can enjoy carriage rides through the park, or a casual stroll.

This landmark monument can be seen in the city centre. The Tugu Pahlawan is a typical piece of grandiose post-independence Indonesian public art and was erected in memory of the independence fighters who fell in the Battle of Surabaya in November 1945.
