The Josiah Dennis Manse, built in 1736, stands as one of the oldest buildings in Massachusetts. Once home to the town's namesake, Reverend Josiah Dennis, the manse now serves as a museum showcasing artifacts from his life and the early days of Dennis. Explore exhibits dedicated to his children's room, spinning and weaving techniques, and other aspects of 18th-century life. The complex also includes the 1745 schoolhouse, offering a glimpse into the history of education in the region.

With a mix of architectural styles (with a heavy Gothic influence), this beautiful building is a must-see when in Rouen. Palais de Justice was restored after World War II, but is today just as glorious as it was in the 16th century. Entry isn't open to the public, but do pay a visit to the courtyard area.

At Pézenas, which is so close and unique, UNESCO now protects this "intangible cultural heritage" that is so heart-felt and generously shared by the local residents, making it part of the place's DNA or better yet, its spirit. During your stay, be sure to take part in these seasonal events, which follow the path of the Sun: Nadal, the revival of light just before Christmas on the winter solstice; Carnival, the end of winter with the insolent breath of spring and rising sap; Sant Joan at the triumph of the summer solstice, and Martror, the day of the dead and winter of life accompanied by macabre dances.

Along with performing its primary function as a means of transportation, the historic Blackpool tramway is the last one of the first-generation tramways in the UK, making it a rather unique local attraction. The line runs along the scenic coast from Blackpool to Fleetwood.
