Sint Pieter was its own municipality until 1920. This part of the city was always outside the city walls (and so had it the toughest in times of war). Then, it was mainly farmers who lived here; now, it’s mostly families, epicureans, and a few descendants of the inhabitants of that old Sint Pieter. Today, Sint Pieter is Maastricht’s most popular residential district, not just for its beautiful houses but because of its ideal location between city and green. And it still feels like its own town, with its own social life, and charm, even though it’s just a stone’s throw away from the city park. In fact, it has the best of both worlds: village and city. Nature and culture.

Bristol Aquarium is situated on the famous Bristol harbour and is a must-see attraction if you love the ocean and especially great for children. The aquarium is divided into sections, leading you from a sunken ship, to an urban jungle, the coral seas and an underwater tunnel. Plus, there are special events like meeting a mermaid every month.

Golf the heavenly landscape of Tatum Ranch. Situated along the Sonoran Desert, Tatum Ranch offers an 18-hole championship course with a 6,856-yard, par 72 layout. Playing this course will add to any golfer’s arsenal of experience, as it is a welcome challenge in its fairways, bunkers, and greens. Come for the golf and enjoy the views to top it off.

Stargazers will no doubt find inspiration at this unique observatory. The castle was built in 1582 and has been home to merchants, smugglers, and pirates, as well as researchers and scientists. While worldly exhibits focus on the history of the castle, there are plenty dedicated to the cosmos, and life in outer space.
