There are different locations to snorkel in Varberg. They extend over sandy bottoms, eelgrass beds, and seaweed-covered rocks. In most outdoor bath spots there are white buoys located in shallow water while the red ones are placed in deeper water. The depth can vary depending on the low and high tide, but the maximum depth is about three meters and minimum depth is approximately one meter. Första vik Getterön is one of the most frequented places for snorkelling, but if you're accompanied by children, Tredje vik Getterön is a more suitable option with its shallower and safer waters.

In the 1st district, marvel at a breathtaking light installation by the artist Olafur Eliasson on the façade of the Verbund headquarters. The artwork can be seen on permanent display in Vienna every day at dusk, when 32 fluorescent lamps cast light on the artificial fog climbing up the side of the building and spreading over the pavement. Also known as St Leopold's Church, this Art Nouveau masterpiece by Otto Wagner defines Vienna’s architectural cityscape and is recognised as the first example of a Modernist church in Europe. Distinctive components of Art Nouveau style were the ornaments that are especially exposed on the dome of the church and on the altar.

The Palais des Nations, once home to the League of Nations, now serves as the UN’s European headquarters. You can take a guided tour (with advance booking) to see spaces like the Assembly Hall and the Council Chamber, where international negotiations still happen today. The building sits inside Ariana Park — a quiet, green space dotted with old cedars, roaming peacocks, and views down to the lake.
