Named after King Carol I of Romania, this park, designed by a French landscape architect, offers lush vegetation and panoramic views of Bucharest. You can find plenty of open-air concerts in the summer at Arenele Romane, or simply enjoy the fresh air and green spaces at any time of year. The park also includes several monuments, such as a Mausoleum, the Cantacuzino Fountain built in 1870 and Fântâna Minelor și Carierelor fountain completed in 1906. The Giants' Statues and the Zodiac Fountain can also be found here. The Technical Museum is a great place to explore Romanian history of technology.

Opened in 2008, the Museum of Eastern Art displays the biggest collection of Asian art and crafts in Italy. It is located in the Quadrilatero neighbourhood, in the ancient Mazzoni Palace. The exhibitions here are varied and change often, taking advantage of the 2200 artefacts that represent cultural and artistic traditions of the Asian continent.

Qinglong Temple, or the Temple of the Green Dragon, is a historic site known for its deep ties to both Chinese and Japanese Buddhism. Established during the Tang Dynasty, it gained further significance when the Japanese monk Kukai (founder of Shingon Buddhism) came to study here in the 9th century. The temple is also renowned for its stunning cherry blossoms, which are particularly spectacular during the annual festival held in March and April. With both Japanese and Chinese cherry blossom varieties, the temple grounds transform into a sea of pink and white flowers, attracting many visitors, especially in late March to early April, when the blossoms are at their peak.
