The most popular beach in Cabo San Lucas, located on the east side of the harbor entrance, extending from Villa del Palma for 3km, is bustling with activity. If you don’t want to rent a jet ski or play volleyball, you can always buy a sombrero, sip a cold beer and just watch the action.

White sand and turquoise water are the key ingredients to Monastir's beaches. The most obvious choice would be to head straight to Karaia (Qaraiya) beach, which is one of the focal points of the city. However, it does get very busy in high season. For those willing to venture a little further afield for some R&R, the beaches of Sousse such as Bou Jaafar and Las Vegas Beach are particularly beautiful. The coast between Monastir and Sousse is a bit more utilitarian but could prove to be an interesting adventure as the locals will often come there to cast a fishing line on the beaches and for all horse lovers, there is riding and racing further inland at the Monastir Hippodrome and the Eki Club. Just beware that there is not a lot of shade on offer along the waterfront, so be sure to pack the SPFs.

Religion is a very important part of life in Corfu — in the Old Town alone you'll find about twenty churches. Saint Spiridon, the patron of Corfu, was born, lived, and died in this city.

Situated in the North East corner of the island, Old Perithia is an abandoned village steeped in history, dating back to the 14th century. Once home to a vibrant farming community, this charming village offers an inviting space for exploration, with its medieval stone houses and churches. It’s also a great place to unwind and savour the moment, relishing a delightful drink at one of the local tavernas.
