Whether the sun is shining or the clouds are looming, the beach of Scheveningen is packed full of exciting things to do and see on a day out. Just a fifteen-minute bike ride from The Hague's city centre, this eventful stretch of sand dunes and sea is definitely worth a visit for young and old to enjoy the culinary delights that can be found there along with the numerous events such as beach parties, fireworks nights and kite festivals to name but a few. There is a vibrant surf culture in Scheveningen which is active all year round, great for beginners to learn as there are so many surf schools along the beach. During the day, be sure to visit any of the numerous attractions, museums or markets then take an evening stroll down one of the promenades and pick out the perfect spot to eat and drink from over 130 restaurants available.

The Big Banana is an iconic Australian landmark, standing five metres high and stretching 11 metres long. But there's more to this attraction than just bananas: visit the Big Banana Fun Park, packed with rides and activities for the whole family. Enjoy the toboggan ride, laser tag arena, ice-skating rink, inflatable water park, candy-making kitchen, nursery, and a gift shop filled with quirky souvenirs.

Most hotels in the Hotel Zone or Zona Hotelera are located directly on Cancún's beautiful beach. The Hotel Zone itself is divided into kilometer-long sections, which make it easy to navigate. The heart of the area is undoubtedly Cancún's famous buzzing party zone (km 8), where the bars and nightclubs draw both young and old crowds until the early morning hours. The party also attracts performing and visiting celebrities so you'll never know who you might be rubbing shoulders with.

The Museum of Applied Arts is a branch of the National Museum in Poznan. It is located on the Przemysl Hill, in the very heart of the city of Poznan. The castle tower which is 43 meters high, offers a unique view of the city and its surroundings. In the space of 1500 m² in the joint buildings of the Przemysł Castle and Raczyński’s edifice, a new exhibition, devoted entirely to the applied art, is presented. It is the only such place in Poland. Amongst 2000 objects arranged in a unique way, one can find furniture, ceramics, glass and metal, weapons, jewellery, fabrics, costumes and accessories. The museum presents applied art from Middle Ages until modern times.
