This temple, located northeast of central Kathmandu, is the largest stupa in the country and the most important Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. Situated within the Hira Cultural District, the Museum of the Holy Quran is the first of its kind in Mecca, dedicated to the history and physical tradition of the Islamic scripture. Its collection features rare manuscripts, including a photographed copy of the Uthman ibn Affan mushaf, and displays record-holding items like the world's largest Quran. Once holding the world record for construction speed (an impressive 2.5 days per floor), this building is a testament to the city’s ambition. Although newer skyscrapers now tower over it, Di Wang remains a must-visit for those wanting a bird's-eye view of Shenzhen's dynamic urban landscape, especially when the sun sets and the skyline lights up.
