One of the newest urban developments in Seoul, the state-of-the-art Dongdaemun Design Plaza contains a Design Museum and Exhibition Hall, shops and markets, as well as several other important sights, such as the Seoul Fortress and the Igansumun Water Gate.

With its 881 metres above sea level, Gunung Raya is the highest mountain in Langkawi. At its top sits a resort (the D'Coconut Hill Resort), as well as a viewing tower, from which a spectacular view over the island unfolds.

The “Grand House” of El Castell de Guadalest or “Casa Orduña” was built after the great earthquake of 1644, which devastated the region and demolished the buttress of the castle. It was built by the Orduñas, a family of Basque lineage. They came to the kingdom of Valencia with the Infante Fortuna de Navarra; they later went into the service of the Cardonas, admirals of Aragón. D. Sancho de Cardona received the title of Marques of Guadalest in 1543. As the family enjoyed the complete confidence of the marqueses, they were sent to Guadalest and served as guardians of the fortress and governors of the estate for almost three hundred years.

Once used as a site for Seoul's 1988 Olympic Games, the park now contains Korea's biggest sporting arena, and is frequented by city residents who come for nature walks amongst the park greenery or sporting events in one of the park's modern stadiums.
