This non-profit institution comprises many talented artists and sculptors who have been adding to the cache of contemporary art in the Hague since 1847. Whereas the studio started as a workshop where artists could come together and share their work with other artists, it now hosts around sixty exhibitions every year, which are open to members of the association and the public upon request. It is advisable to contact the studio for more information about memberships and guest access as some events are listed as members only whilst others are available for everyone to enjoy. The café/restaurant area is a good place to start as it is open to the public during the daytime.

At the nature reserve Silverfallet-Karlsfors, an impressive waterfall pours down over the rocks. The falls are most popular in the spring when the water level is at its highest. The area is rich in rare flora and perfect for a Sunday outing. You can also see remains from the biggest alum operation in Skaraborg, which was abandoned in 1856.

Located just 30 kilometres from the city is the beautiful Vypin island with a mesmerising beach, and a 15-kilometre-long coastline sprinkled with sea shells and coconut trees. If you want to get away from the city and relax on a breathtaking island, Cherai Beach is the place to be.

The historic Daytona Beach Boardwalk features enough attractions to fill a day, including arcades, the Joyland Amusement Center, souvenir shops, several restaurants, Oceanfront Park, and the performing arts center The Bandshell. During the summer you can enjoy a fireworks show every Saturday night.
