Stavropoleos Monastery Church in Bucharest is a striking example of Romania's Brâncovenesc style, blending Byzantine, Ottoman, Renaissance and Baroque influences. It's best to go early in the morning or just before closing to avoid queuing in notoriously slow-moving lines.
