Among its historical treasures, the impeccably preserved star-shaped military fortress stands tall, guarding the sole entrance to the harbour, a testament to its enduring legacy.

Learn about the Mutiny on the Bounty, the story of the Pandora, the efforts of the Royal Navy to recover the 'pirated' ship and bring the mutineers to justice. One of our most popular areas for kids is the Enchanted Rainforest, which focuses on one of North Queensland’s most iconic ecosystems. Natural formations like the Dunn’s River Falls are a good reason Jamaica has earned herself the nickname "Land of Springs." The 180-feet high, terraced waterfalls flowing down the travertine rocks just before making their way into the Caribbean is a stunning sight in itself, but there is also plenty to do here: climb the rocks, take a refreshing dip, or grab a zipline and see it all from above. There is also a water park for the youngest explorers.

This monument commemorates the lives of the 1,198 people who perished on board the Cunard Liner Lusitania on the 7th of May 1915. Sunk by a German submarine during the First World War, this memorial pays homage to the often-forgotten Irishmen who enlisted in World War One.
