Gamla Stan, Stockholm's historic Old Town, is a fascinating district that transports visitors back in time with its cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and rich cultural heritage. At the Nordvegen History Centre and Viking Settlement you can be a viking for a day. This authentic Viking Village and the History Centre at Avaldsnes give you the opportunity to see and feel the life of the Scandinavian Vikings that lived here a thousand years ago.

If time allows to squeeze in a trip to the seaside, An Bang Beach is the best stretch of sand within easy reach from Hoi An. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas and is reachable by bicycle. There are multiple cafés and restaurants peppered along the coast, as well as a few locales that offer water sports equipment rental. Another option is Cua Dai Beach, which is less busy and less convenient to swim at due to significant soil erosion, but the rapid development of nearby An Bang has helped Cua Dai become increasingly re-discovered by those looking for more privacy.

The Hokkaido Shrine is said to be the oldest temple in Japan. After a wonderful stroll through Murayama Park, you get to the Shrine. The entrance to the temple is very traditional with little stone pillars on either side and traditional ceremonies are held regularly.
