Bugle Hill is the fascinating site where Nandi Temple (Bull Temple) is located. Built in a Dravidian architectural style, the object of veneration is a magnificent statue of Shiva’s sacred bull Nandi: 15 feet tall, over 20 feet long, and carved out of a single block of granite in a glistening 16th-century massive statue. In November and December every year, when the groundnuts are harvested, a groundnut fair is held near the temple.

Visitors become acquainted with a permanent exposition, presenting Lithuanian modern and contemporary painting, sculpture, graphics, photography, objects, installations, and video art. Here you can also take part in cultural events, lectures, and educational programmes.

Indian Canyons is a true desert gem—an oasis tucked right in the rocky hills just outside Palm Springs. Walk at your own pace under the towering palms, where sunlight streams through the leaves and creates a natural canopy—miles away from the desert heat and noise. At the trail’s end, you’ll find a small trading post where you can rest, grab a cold drink or hot coffee, and take in the views from under the palms.

Gediminas Avenue is the main street of Vilnius, where most of the governmental and cultural institutions of Lithuania are concentrated. Nowadays, it is also a very popular shopping and dining street. It is partially a pedestrian street in the evenings when traffic is prohibited.
