In a lush area of central Kuala Lumpur’s Lake Gardens lies the Islamic Arts Museum. This is the largest museum of Islamic art in Southeast Asia, which exhibits more than 7,000 objects from all across the world, and includes garments, pottery, ornate wood carvings and miniature models of some of the most spectacular Islamic buildings on earth.

Randers Tropical Zoo features the largest artificial rain forest in Europe, with mirroring the three rainforest continents: South America, Asia and Africa. Observe giant lianas, roaring waterfalls, and more than 450 different tropical plants, and 250 species of animals, and more than half of them walk around freely. If you are brave, you can also get very close to the snakes in the Asian snake yard, or to an armadillo or a green anaconda, which is the heaviest boa constrictor species in the world. For having a break from this wildlife experience, you can take it low with traditional Danish farming animals at the playground, or with a drink and a snack at the cafe.

Randers Kunstmuseum is a treasure with great experiences for everybody, as it contains more than 4,000 works of art. Known for its large collection, you will here find several works of great artists from the 18th century, such as L. A. Ring, Theodor Phillipsen and Vilhelm Hammershøi, while you can also experience newer works from the 20th century, such as paintings from Wilhelm Freddie and Asger Jorn.
