The Archaeological Museum of Rhodes isn't just a treasure trove of artefacts — it's a piece of history itself. Originally the Hospital of the Knights, this medieval gem was completed in 1489 by Grand Master d'Aubusson and remains remarkably well-preserved. Wander through rooms filled with intriguing finds from Rhodes and its neighbouring islands, including the captivating Statue of the Crouching Aphrodite and the age-old Pyxis of the Fikellura type. The Buriganga River, which runs peacefully through Dhaka, showcases a microcosm of the whole country on its banks. Located in the historic centre, this beautiful Gothic style church is well worth seeking out. Inside it is possible to admire a very interesting group of artworks created by the most valuable local artists, as the marble baldachin and all the stunning sacred frescoes and paintings exposed on the walls of the side aisles.
