Bocas is one of the very few Caribbean surf spots with good sized waves. There may be better and bigger waves in the Pacific, but here, when you surf, you do it in turquoise waters, while you ride above colorful coral reefs or white sand. There are beach breaks, point breaks and reef breaks, lefts, and rights for all tastes and preferences. You can find breaks three minutes away from Isla Colon. The preferred surf spots are Wizard, Bluff, Punch, The Point at Carenero and Tiger Tail. It is important to visit these spots with somebody who knows the area, especially if you will be surfing over a reef break.

As a botanical artwork and internationally renowned centre of scientific studies, Lalbagh Park contains a diverse variety of flora, a deer park and one of the largest collections of rare tropical plants within India. Conceived by Sultan Hyder Ali in 1760, it was further expanded by his son, who planted exotic trees from Persia, Turkey, and Mauritius. An annual flower show is also held here, in the British-built Glass House.

La Grande Soufrière is an imposing volcano located in the Guadeloupe National Park and the tallest peak in the Lesser Antilles. It is still active and has erupted several times in the last few centuries, and is thus dotted by numerous hot springs, mud pools, and fumaroles, which can be explored on the approximately 2-hour hike to the top.

Though it was once a busy shipyard where European immigrants settled after coming in search of work, this colourful and vibrant neighbourhood has developed into a fashionable centre for trendy galleries and boutiques. Tourists flock here to snap a shot of the colourful Caminito, where painted metal shacks reflect the area's past, and to pay a visit to one of football's most legendary stadiums.
