The Museum of Science & Industry has something for visitors of all ages. The museum offers an array of hands-on activities, including lying on a bed of nails, exploring optical illusions, solving brain puzzles, and diving into a NASA-funded lunar colony simulation. You can also observe butterflies, enjoy a round of mini-golf, and gaze at the stars in the planetarium. Come with time to spare because you will probably want to spend the entire afternoon here.

The Duke’s Diwan is a time capsule of early 20th-century Amman, hidden in plain sight on the busy King Faisal Street. Built in 1924 as the city’s first post office, this Ottoman-era stone house later became the Haifa Hotel before heritage activist Mamdouh Bisharat ("The Duke of Mukheibeh") rescued it from demolition in 2001. Today, its creaking wooden floors lead through rooms frozen in Jordan’s past, complete with antique typewriters, sepia photos of camel caravans on dusty roads, and a balcony overlooking downtown’s metamorphosis. More than a museum, it’s a living diwan (gathering space): poets hold readings at the carved oak table, while artists riff under the Arabian archways. Admission is free, and the duke himself sometimes holds court, spinning tales of old Amman over cardamom coffee. Don’t miss the upstairs gallery, where rotating exhibits spotlight Jordan’s underground creatives.

There are multiple local companies offering scooter tours of the Vietnam capital. These tours range greatly in thematic focus (street food to historic landmarks) and duration, and depend on the individual provider, but details can often be agreed upon on an individual basis. On these tours, an individual driver is normally assigned to each visitor, who then hops on the back of the scooter as a passenger. Helmets should normally be provided. The coordinator links up tourists with available local student volunteers, allowing the students to practice their English and bringing overseas visitors into contact with locals. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) has been a cornerstone of the city's cultural scene since 1945. In 2022, Nathalie Stutzmann took over as music director, becoming the first woman to lead the ASO. Performances are held at the Atlanta Symphony Hall in the Woodruff Arts Center. The ASO offers a range of concerts throughout the year, featuring both classical pieces and contemporary works.
