The building of the Cayman Islands National Museum dates back to the 1800s and is a focal point of George Town. Every history tour of the island will make a stop here, since the museum is dedicated to the preservation, research and display of all aspects of Caymanian heritage, both cultural and natural. Hong Kong Science Museum opened its doors in 1991 and is truly a place where you can learn science in a fun way. The museum houses over 500 exhibits including the Energy Machine - the largest device of its kind in the world - and the DC-3 airplane (the first local airliner). There are also many games and activities suitable for visitors of all ages.

Lucea's most striking landmark is the Court House, a grand clock tower its signature aspect. It was dispatched to St. Lucia in 1817, but an error in delivery saw it landing in Lucea. The residents grew fond of it and refused to send it on to St. Lucia, keeping it a local landmark to this day.
