Favignana Island is part of the Aegadian Archipelago, famous for its glorious beaches. It is located just 17 km southwest of Trapani, and it is easily reachable by frequent ferries. Visitors can take boat trips to the entire group of islands so to discover the natural magnificence of the deep southern Italy. In the numerous small ports, you cannot miss the daily fish markets, where you will have the possibility to taste raw sea urchins, typical dish of the Mediterranean coast.

Built over the main mosque of the old Moslem city, this cathedral is an eclectic mix of styles, from Romanesque to Neoclassical. An extraordinary collection of Flemish tapestries from the metropolitan chapter are on display in the Tapestry Museum.

St. Augustine's might not be Derry's most prominent architectural monument, but it is a lovely old Anglican church enclosed in a cosy garden and radiating tranquility. Sometimes they have concerts here, and the church is worth a visit even if only for a short while.

The Stuttgart State Gallery (Staatsgalerie Stuttgart) is one of Germany’s leading art museums, showcasing works from the 14th century to the present. Its collection includes approximately 5,500 paintings and sculptures, 250,000 works on paper, and up to 250,000 archival documents from artists' estates. The museum comprises three main buildings: the original 1843 structure, the postmodern extension designed by James Stirling in 1984, and a 2002 addition by architects Wilfrid and Katharina Steib. Stirling’s extension, known as the Neue Staatsgalerie, is celebrated for its innovative design that integrates a public walkway through the museum, blending classical and modern elements. The Staatsgalerie's extensive collection features masterpieces by artists such as Oskar Schlemmer, Henri Matisse, Salvador Dalí, and Joan Miró.
