The Varna lighthouse is easily accessible on foot, about a 20-minute walk from the eastern port. Once there, you can enjoy panoramic views of Varna Beach, Bulgarian navigation ships, and the bustling port. It remains an interesting landmark, where graffiti artists have left their mark on the structure, adding a layer of urban character.

The sea surrounding Bonaire is entirely part of the Bonaire National Marine Park, whose reefs and mangroves are home to the best preserved and the most diverse marine life in the Caribbean. There are nearly 90 dive sites in Bonaire, the most well-known ones being the 1000 Steps Beach, the popular wreck of Hilma Hooker, the deserted island of Klein Bonaire and Bari Reef, whose richness is unique even from a Bonairean perspective. Dive sites are indicated with big rocks painted yellow across the island to help underwater enthusiasts find the location they seek.

The historic neighbourhoods of Al Sheyoukh and Al Maraija constitute Sharjah's main Heritage Area. They are compact in size, very walkable and contain a number of small museums that make for short educational and entertaining pit stops along the way.

List boasts the largest continuous shifting dune area in Europe, known as Die Wanderdünen (the shifting dune). With a height of 30 metres, these remarkable dunes shape List's landscape, migrating up to 10 metres annually. In order to protect this one-of-a-kind natural spectacle, it was placed under nature protection in 1923. While access to the dunes is strictly prohibited, guided tours to the foot of the dune offer a chance to explore the unique flora and fauna in the serene, untouched environment.
