The Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen presents a demanding and variegated exhibition program at three locations: at the K20 Grabbeplatz, at the K21 Ständehaus and at the Schmela Haus. Around a half-century ago, in August of 1961, the regional government of North Rhine-Westphalia established the Foundation of the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen. The purchase of 88 works by artist Paul Klee was the “opening salvo.” Since then, the Kunstsammlung has become one of the most recognised art museums worldwide, with a collection which ranges from Classical Modernism to American Pop Art and major contemporary works.

San Diego is, above all, a waterfront city, and one of the best ways to experience its charm is by strolling along the scenic San Diego Bay Waterfront. This vibrant area features beautiful parks, museums such as the Maritime Museum of San Diego and the USS Midway Museum, as well as plenty of seaside bars and restaurants. Cala Comte is on the west coast and has a mix of small coves, clear turquoise water, and rocky outcrops—great for swimming or snorkelling. There are a couple of beach bars with decent food and music. The vibe is relaxed, but you’ll still find plenty of energy around.

Mahe Island's spectacular national park is one of the archipelago's unmissable attractions. Hike up Morne Blanc, the highest peak in all of the Seychelles, along the Morne Blanc Hiking Trail (which cuts through lush mangrove forest), and be duly rewarded by the spectacular views unfolding from the observation deck at the top.
