The Central Arcade is located in a beautiful, historic Victorian building with a stunning facade and no less impressive interior. The arcade is well-known for the variety of upper-range brands represented. Please note that the once operational Tourist Information centre inside is closed.

The Buriganga River, which runs peacefully through Dhaka, showcases a microcosm of the whole country on its banks. You can see people fishing by the shore as your vessel navigates through the maze of boats making their way down the river. Journey Behind the Falls is a year-round attraction that affords a unique view of the Falls from below and behind. Elevators descend 150 feet through bedrock to tunnels that lead and to the Cataract Portal and the Great Falls Portal which is one third of the way behind the massive sheet of water. Then you walk on to the Upper and Lower Observation Decks at the very foot of the Falls. Posters of information are a great resource of information about the history and evolution of the hallways you walk through.
