di Rosa is truly an experience for the senses. The site spans over 200 acres of vineyard, gardens, and natural landscape in the Carneros Appellation of the Napa Valley. They house an acclaimed collection of contemporary Bay Area art, encompassing over 2,000 works by more than 800 artists. The art reflects the creative efforts of individuals who wished to capture the imagination and innovation of Northern California. From thought-provoking installations to large-scale outdoor sculptures, di Rosa invites visitors to explore both the art and the environment around it. With rotating exhibits and outdoor art trails, there’s always something new to discover.

Loveland Castle, also known as Château Laroche, is a full-scale medieval-style castle built single-handedly by Harry D. Andrews, a World War I veteran, starting in the 1920s. Constructed using stones from the Little Miami River and bricks molded from quart milk cartons, Andrews dedicated over 50 years to this labor of love. When you visit, you can wander through the castle’s towers and narrow halls, check out some old-school medieval weapons, and just soak in the quirky, one-of-a-kind vibe. It's a fun and odd little stop with beautiful gardens and a peaceful riverside spot to hang out afterward.

The Fort Montbarey was initially constructed as a fortified stronghold under the reign of Louis XVI. It's located to the west of Brest and shares similarities with Questel Fort. Brest provided the fort to the Memorial Association to establish a museum focusing on the history of the Finistère region during WWII. The museum is actually one among a series of five forts that collectively narrate the region's history.
