Far from being a spooky place, it is basically a big garden with beautiful architecture and sculptures. Interesting fact: the Mirogoj Cemetery was the first public cemetery in Zagreb to accept people belonging to many different religions.

The trail down to the beach is a bit rocky, so consider wearing stable shoes and not flip-flops. The beach has a quiet surf, perfect for swimming and relaxing.
