Platja des Cavallet is known as Ibiza’s official nudist beach, but it draws a pretty mixed crowd these days. It’s long, windswept, and backed by sand dunes, with space to spread out. There are a few beach bars, and the southern end has been a longtime favourite with the LGBTQ+ community. It’s also a good spot for windsurfing when the breeze picks up.

One of, if not the most important centres for justice and peace in the world, Peace Palace comprises the United Nations International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Hague Academy of International Law and the Peace Palace Library. Although this is a working palace, which means most areas are closed to the public, there is, however, a visitors centre where those interested can learn more about the history of the palace and the role it plays today in international justice via a free audio tour. On rare occasions, the palace opens its doors to the public for guided tours, but it is advisable to check well in advance if any dates are available as they are few and far between. In any case, the impressive surrounding gardens and Neo-Renaissance buildings are definitely a must-see.

Ta'if attracts a large number of visitors with its breathtaking mountain vistas and attractions. Al-Hada and Al-Shifa are two key areas that offer public parks, lush gardens, and scenic agricultural zones worth exploring. A highlight of the region is the cable car journey in Al-Hada, which begins in Al-Kurr Village and ascends to the mountaintop. At the summit, visitors can enjoy upscale dining and accommodation options, making it a memorable part of the Ta'if experience.
