STRAAT Museum redefines the gallery experience inside a spacious warehouse at Amsterdam’s NDSM wharf, reachable via a free ferry from Centraal Station. Inside, over 180 monumental works by 170 global artists (including Eduardo Kobra’s towering Anne Frank mural) were created on-site, preserving the spontaneity of outdoor graffiti. Located in the heart of the historic Trinity College, this lavishly illustrated manuscript of the Gospels dates back to the 9th century. A marvel of Early Christian art is housed in the 65-metre Long Room in the Old Library — an incredible sight in itself. The room with its barrel-vaulted ceiling inspired the imagery of the Jedi Archive in Star Wars Episode II.

This Neo-Romanesque building, that gives the Cathedral Quarter its name, is full of impressive multi-coloured mosaics, and is sumptuously decorated with elegant marble. The church has been at the forefront of cross-community initiatives in recent years, hosting weekly 'heal our land' services for people of any denomination.
