This 5 kilometre long sculpture trail is located approximately 35 kilometres from Carcassonne, up in the Corbieres hills in a beautiful green nature. To walk the whole trail and watch all the sculptures takes about 2,5 hours so this is a day trip from the city. Not only sculptures to look at when walking this trail, but also amazing views across the mountains.

Explore the history of the various prehistoric farmers who settled in Ireland, from the Mesolithic period to the time of the Norman Invasion (1169). Reconstructed dwellings such as a mesolithic camp, a neolithic farmstead, a portal dolmen, a cyst grave, stone circle, medieval ringfort, monastic site, crannóg (ancient lake dwelling) and a Viking harbour are spread across 35 acres of parkland, estuary trails and wetland forest. The park also runs demonstrations on traditional rural life skills from blacksmithing to gold panning. This is a truly immersive experience exploring Ireland's roots and forgotten traditions.

The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum and Aquarium, located on Sanibel Island — famous for its abundance of seashells — houses a fascinating collection of shells from around the globe. Explore the Great Hall of Shells, showcasing highlights from the museum's collection of over half a million shells. Discover the Beyond Shells living gallery, featuring aquariums teeming with over 50 species of marine life. The Åland Museum (history and ethnography) and Åland Konstmuseum (art museum) are both housed under the same roof. The permanent culture and history exhibition on display at the Åland Museum gives excellent insight into the history of the province. Art from Åland is displayed at the Konstmuseum, and there are always a few temporary exhibitions. The discovery of world's oldest champagne in the region is highlighted through an exhibition entitled “Champagnegaleasen” (the champagne schooner).
