This tiny island is barely one kilometre long, but has an extensive reef which makes it a top snorkelling spot in Zanzibar. The island has an exclusive lodge which only accommodates 24 guests at a time, but day trips are also available for anyone who is looking to spot some dolphins or green turtles.

The Museum of Evolution was founded in 1999 from the former natural history museums of Uppsala University. It preserves and displays unique collections of animals, plants, fungi, lichen, minerals, dinosaur skeletons, and other fossils. The museum has been collecting the wonders of nature since the 1600s — for research, education, and admiration.

The Archaeological Museum houses a collection of artefacts from the district of Zadar and the islands of Pag and Rab, dating from prehistoric times to the end of 11th century.
