A visit to the Charles H. Wright Museum is a great opportunity for understanding African American history and culture. Located at the top of the Varberg fortress, the Kulturhistoriska Museum allows visitors to delve into the cultural history of Halland, showcasing iconic exhibitions such as the Bocksten Man from the 14th century and the Halland photo exhibition. Also, the Artist Colony of Varbergsskolan, exhibits paintings from Swedish artists.

Eketorp fortress is a completely excavated and reconstructed ancient fort, where the reconstructions have been carried out directly on the archaeological remains. The ring wall stands five metres high and six metres wide, and within it lie Iron Age stone houses and medieval timber-framed buildings, all reconstructed using traditional craftsmanship techniques and materials.

The Fortress bath is located alongside the fortress pier. It combines a sun deck, a jetty, and a diving tower. The wharf is ideal for various activities, including sunbathing, swimming and diving, all conveniently located in the heart of Varberg.
