Go camping, picnicking or take a dip in the cool lake at Rangeley Lake State Park. The park has 50 individual campsites, two group campsites and a camping area playground. They also have boat launch areas and hiking grounds so you can explore the land and the waters.

Byfield National Park is a forested recreation area stretched along the coastline with a view out to the Keppel Islands group. Enormous sand dunes and a picturesque coastal scenery dominate the southern part of the park, while in the north you can hike through rainforest and take a bath in Stony Creek, one of the best local fresh-water swimming holes in the area. The park is perfectly suited for a host of outdoor activities like camping, picnicking, walking, four-wheel driving, boating and fishing, cycling, and even horse riding.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the island of Delos is an important sacred site for the ancient Greeks, and therefore, a must-visit for history and archaeology enthusiasts. It holds some curios remains of ancient civilisations: a former amphitheatre, historic houses with mosaics, temples, and the famous Terrace of the Lions. Don't skip the museum–it contains some artefacts dating as far back as the 25th century BC.

The Treasury exhibits valuable examples of sacred art: the large Romanesque painted crucifix from the 12th century, the painting of the Dead Christ — the work of Jacopo da Ponte Bassano, the large Renaissance crucifix from the 15th century, ancient liturgical vessels, precious illuminated codices and chorals, documents, incunabula, etc. The painted Ugljan polyptych from the 15th century is without any doubt the finest and the most representative example of the entire Gothic painting in Croatia.
