The beautiful St. Lawrence Church is tucked away at the heart of the Nuremberg pedestrian area. Built in 1250, it has been an Evangelical Lutheran church since 1525. The church has a magnificent west facade with a splendid portal richly decorated with statuary and a huge rose window (mid 14th century). Reconstruction work on the church started in 1952 following severe damage during the World War II.

The Australian Seabird Rescue, Research, Rehabilitation and Coastal Education Centre in Ballina offers a comprehensive educational experience for people of all ages. Koh Samui’s mummified monk at Wat Khunaram is an unusual sight but still offers a unique insight into Buddhist and Thai culture. The mummified monk Luong Pordaeng died in 1973 and his body has been on display in a glass case at the temple ever since. Remarkably, the monk’s body shows little sign of decay.
