The Dominica Museum is housed in a can’t-miss orange building conveniently located opposite the cruise ship berth, adjacent to the tourist information centre. During the annual Back to My Roots Festival, you can enjoy a whole week of activities. There are music performances, a pig killing ceremony, and the highlight of the event, the mysterious Rom dance. It is held in mid August in the North part of the Ambrym island, known for its picturesque wood carvings.
