The picturesque regional park covers over 23,000 hectares along the coast from Viareggio to Livorno. The grounds feature estates and historic buildings, forested walking trails. You will come across organic farms, apiaries and dairies, an archeological area, the Navicelli canal and multiple natural reserves with distinct natural environments. You’re in for a challenge at Amaze World. Make your way through this hedge maze, full of brain-teasing puzzles, mini tile mazes, and a huge walk-through aviary. Take the family to “get lost” in this living hedge maze with two metre high rows of fragrant cypress pine hedges.

The megalithic archaeological site of Filitosa is known for its curious menhirs, with detail of facial features and body outlines carved into them. The earliest artefacts dug up here date back to 3300 BC (the menhirs are estimated to have been erected around 1500 BC). There are a small museum and a thousand-year-old olive tree on site.
