Upplands Museum is a cultural and historic county museum that provides knowledge, experiences and inspiration about Uppland. Situated on an islet of Fyrisån River near the centre of Uppsala, the museum is housed in the old Academy Mill from the 1760s. The museum began its collections in 1909. Come and visit the different exhibitions, both permanent and temporary, spanning four floors.

This baroque-style aristocratic residence now houses a museum dedicated to the art and music of the 17th and 18th centuries. The palace, built for the Lascaris Vintimille family in the mid-17th century, features a monumental staircase, frescoes, and luxuriously decorated salons. Visitors can explore the reception apartments, which boast frescoes depicting mythological themes, stucco work from the late 17th century, and a permanent collection of paintings, sculptures, furniture, objets d'art, and tapestries. The palace also houses a remarkable collection of antique musical instruments, including a prestigious deposit from the Institut de France.

Ocean City's downtown area, located at the southern end of the barrier spit, is a popular destination with plenty to see and do. Explore the iconic three-mile boardwalk lined with shops, condos, and other businesses, all offering oceanfront views. For a unique perspective, try parasailing high above the boardwalk, or try your luck at fishing in the bay or from one of the many piers.
